Gladys Friday is a 4-piece soul/funk/blues/rock band based out of the Polson, MT area. We play a very diverse selection of cover tunes and original music… everything from The Grateful Dead to Grace Potter. Our most unique feature is our lead singer, Kelley Sinclair. Kelley is one of those rare vocalists who can truly do justice to an Aretha song, and grind out a Bonnie Raitt or Tina rocker and make it her own. Brandon Eden is a vaguely bluesy, folk-core acoustic musician from Polson, Montana. With music powered by driving rhythms, enchanting melodies, and heart-felt lyrics inspired by all that life has to offer, Brandon’s music is a hypnotizing treat for the vestibules of the inner ear.

Raised beneath the Swan Mountains of the Flathead Valley, Halladay Quist started singing at a young age. The result of a sexy stewardess and a traveling musician, her first memories are of her riding passenger on a long dark highway, her dad teaching her the harmony part to the songs that kept him awake. Since those early years, music has been a strong part of her life. It has taken her to Europe, bringing classical music to Hungary, Polland, and Austria, to the University of Montana, to sing with the UM jazz Chorale, the Jubileers, and even to Rockin’ the Rivers, opening main stage for the Doobie Brothers with her rock band, House of Quist. Our Music is a contemporary expression of traditional values that comes from the sacred drum of the earths heart beat.

The driving influence of our music is our native culture. We want to bring the past and present together, passing these values down from our elders to our youth. The music is mostly our perspective of the world we live in with what we have gained from our tribal communities. By living on our rez, we understand a unique balance of our past and present culture and the hope for the future. We try to express our native outlook on the state of the world by re-discovering the old ways in a new world and reaching an agreement between the old and new ways. In our efforts we hope to help others to explore ideas of change. As we all know, the progressions of modern life need to be re-evaluated.

Our lyrics are commentary of this life, and things we have dealt with growing up here. We focus on getting back to our spiritual and cultural ways.
The music itself a reflection of our world and a venue to reach the people of today. With prayers of making them aware of our dying cultures and traditions. It is only by reaching them that this dying culture will survive in future generations.

WarCry is a Native American band that originates from the Salish-Kootenai Reservation near Flathead lake in Montana. Our goal is to encourage others to live in a better way. To follow the “Warriors Path”.
