They have spent arduous hours rehearsing the styles and techniques of Pink Floyd, whether it’s the socially analytical words of Roger Waters, the legendary guitar solos of David Gilmour, the ever-steady beat of Nick Mason, the psychedelia of Syd Barrett, or the timeless emotional nuances of Rick Wright; Pinky and the Floyd creates a detailed, yet improvisational performance that runs the gamut of Floyd albums. With a large repertoire of songs, Pinky is fully prepared to guide you through an evening that truly embraces the dynamically driven sound of Pink Floyd.

As seen at the Rockin’ the Rivers (2010) and the Emerson Theater Extravaganza (2011), Bozeman’s Pink Floyd tribute band garners outstanding reviews with every performance. Superb musicianship culled from Montana’s best bands, Pinky and the Floyd deliver spot-on performances from several of the seminal rock band’s catalog including Momentary Lapse of Reason, The Wall, Animals, Wish You Were Here, Meddle, and Darkside of the Moon.

It cannot be denied that part of their success is due to their strong friendship.  The combination of mutual respect, camaraderie and accountability is a difficult thing to create, especially on the stage.  The members of PINKY are keenly aware of this and guard it closely knowing that a critical part of their allure is the element of ‘FUN.’ Ask anyone who has seen Pinky and the Floyd, they’ll attest to the fact that they’re all having tons of it.

The Dirty Shame plays original outlaw country and hits from the likes of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard, The Shame is able to entertain crowds of all ages and walks of life. From heart wrenching ballads to foot stomping honky tonk the music is brought to life with an emotional clarity and a directness sometimes lacking in new music.

On the lead vocals and rhythm guitar is Brandon Hale who asserts his dominance over the microphone from the first note Lead guitarist and vocalist Dan Bradner adds to the mix with his rock and blues vocal style and his telecaster Pedal steel player Tom Day chimes in with perfectly executed steel sounds and solos. Bass Player Mike Hoffman keeps the back end interesting with well thought out lines and syncopation Holding down the foundation is drummer and backing vocalist Dean Wakerlin One of the hardest working bands in Montana the band played more than 130 shows last year entertaining crowds all around the west.
