Sam was then asked to join the band as the drummer/token white dude. But alas, there was a problem. Sam felt lonely and slightly threatened being surrounded by four large minorities in a small practice room, so Loren soon joined the band as white man backup/epic bass player. Four months later, LandLocked quickly gained a reputation as the “best feel good dance music in Montana”, sharing the stage with nationally touring acts such as State Radio, Iration, and The Dirty Heads. Their sound can best be described as island reggae smothered in rock gravy and peppered with hip hop….tangy. For a good time call 555-5555, or just come party with LandLocked.
