Thermal Grass has been heating up the dome at Norris Hot Springs almost every Sunday night for the past three years. Quinton King’s awesome guitar, bass and vocals are complimented by the lightning speed of Ian Fleming’s award winning flatpicking, and Tom Murphy’s hot mando and vocals. Newgrass, jazz, and rock intertwine with bluegrass in an unpredictable yet very enjoyable way.

Cash For Junkers formed in Missoula in 1998, playing for drinks and tips every Sunday at Charlie B’s. Voted best band in Missoula in 2000, C4J began traveling around Montana and later around the northern part of the U.S.

C4J has played at great venues from Seattle to Minneapolis, and shared the stage with great musicians like The Gourds, Kim Lenz, Deke Dickerson, and Johnny Gimble.

Our music is influenced by western swing, classic honky-tonk country, early jazz, bluegrass and a lot of other styles. We call it “musical grab-ass”.

Bozeman’s own Salsa & Latin Jazz inspired dance band performs their own interpretations of Latin American tunes while maintaining original, authentic Afro-Cuban rhythms and blending traditional and non-traditional instrumentation. Poco Loco features Jimmy Lewis on guitar; Eddie T., bass; Chris Cundy, piano; Ben Johns, saxophones, percussion; Kelly Berdahl, trumpet; Mike Gillan and Brian Crumrine, percussion and vocals; and Frances Stewart, vocals and percussion.

Hands Down

We are a weddings and special events band. That’s what we do. Saxophone, Guitars, Bass and Drums.

Need John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Dave Brubeck for dinner and AC/DC, Lynard Skynard, Stevie Wonder, and ZZ top for the reception? Not a problem.

Back Adit

Back Adit is a 4 or 5 pc. band (we have the option to include the drummer if needed) and we play, for lack of a better description, eclectic retro folk jazz/swing. We are influenced by Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks as well as the styles of the 1940’s dance era. Instruments incude tenor, alto, soprano sax, flute, harmonica, misc. percussion, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, acoustic and electric mandolin and banjo. We emphasize vocals and in most songs use 3 part harmonies and lots of call & response type singing.

Dos Mayos boasts a long history of live and recorded music experiences. Tana Mayo plays flute, piano, percussion and has a magnificient voice. Her passion revolves around big band jazz but she is adept at many other styles as well.

Rich Mayo plays both nylon string and steel string guitar, harmonica and vocals. Together Dos Mayos (two mayos)create a synergy of musical sound. A must see and definately a must hear!!!

Denny Earnest is a multi-faceted individual who is a personable singer, a fine lead guitarist, and a very skilled songwriter. Earnest, who lives in Bozeman, Montana, gigs with his band Denny & The Resonators, writes music for films, television and studio work, repairs guitars, and gives music lessons at Music Villa. Along the way he has recorded several albums that cover Jazz, Swing, Americana and lowdown Blues. Alan Fauque on Sax, Adam Palagi on drums, Todd Silas Bass, and Cody Earnest on rythym giter.
