For the last five years, Stormy Creek has been the “in-demand” bluegrass unit for weddings, private parties and festivals. Featuring the fiddle, banjo, mandolin guitar and bass, Storm Norrick, Jeff Shouse, Tom Murphy, Ian Fleming, and Quinton King honor the roots, but push the boundaries of the genre. They’re love for traditional bluegrass is evident, and it provides a great foundation for their eclectic musical explorations. Their tight arrangements and soulful vocal blends will please young and old, and will get the dancers up on their feet.

Back Adit is a 4 or 5 pc. band (we have the option to include the drummer if needed) and we play, for lack of a better description, eclectic retro folk jazz/swing. We are influenced by Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks as well as the styles of the 1940′s dance era. Instruments incude tenor, alto, soprano sax, flute, harmonica, misc. percussion, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, acoustic and electric mandolin and banjo. We emphasize vocals and in most songs use 3 part harmonies and lots of call & response type singing.
