Textbook Blues – Not just another Academic Exercise

Textbook Blues has been rocking Bozeman audiences for about fifteen years, playing such venues as Emerson’s Lunch on the Lawn, The Robin, The Rockin’ R, The Buffalo Station (before the strippers), The Filling Station, Chico Hot Springs, The Murray Hotel, Little John’s, Gardiner Brewfest, and Rockin’ the Rivers. They play a combination of blues, rock, and original tunes that defy normal description. But whatever the song, it’s sure to be unique and soulful.

Featuring the soulful lead singer, Edis, and the outstanding lead guitar of John Priscu, Textbook Blues combines Warren Jones on bass and Greg Vallor on drums in a tight mix of musical virtuosity. Edis’ warm alto vocals are heard in a variety of venues around town mostly as a solo act; playing with Textbook Blues gives her the opportunity to really rock, and rock she does. Fans love her powerful voice and heartfelt vocals.
