Thermal Grass has been heating up the dome at Norris Hot Springs almost every Sunday night for the past three years. Quinton King’s awesome guitar, bass and vocals are complimented by the lightning speed of Ian Fleming’s award winning flatpicking, and Tom Murphy’s hot mando and vocals. Newgrass, jazz, and rock intertwine with bluegrass in an unpredictable yet very enjoyable way.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this band. We just had an fabulous wedding in Bozeman, and Thermal Grass with Sally Newsome made it more than perfect. They are all incredibly talented musicians, super friendly and bring a fantastic energy to their show. We had sooo many people ask us how we found them and our only regret was that we didn’t have the evening recorded! Tom is so great and easy to work with and we stomped the night away!! They played the perfect mix, a little something for everyone, and a few covers that were in our opinion better than the originals!!
I wish we lived closer so we could enjoy them more. They truly made our wedding!!!

Thermal Grass played at my son’s wedding recently in Bozeman. They were fantastic! The covers they played were better than the originals, in my humble opinion. Young and young-at -heart all danced the night away. Their music made the wedding incredibly memorable!
