Tom Catmull has been writing, recording, performing, eating and breathing music for about 16 years. He is originally from South Texas, but moved to Missoula, MT in 1994 where he currently resides on the North side of the rails with is wife and two young sons.  His performances are split between intimate listening rooms and well weathered dance halls where he cavorts with an outstanding(if slightly unruly) four piece Americana band, The Clerics.  It’s predictably tough to pin the music into one neat and tidy genre, but it is definitely an electrified, roots-driven sound supported by the upright bass, pedal steel/electric guitar, acoustic guitar, drums and the occasional banjo.  You might also be subjected to some whistling.  Consider yourself warned.  Still unsure of what the heck you might be concerning yourself with?
