www.Twang – “Premium Country Music”, or as Chico’s “E.R.” Young puts it, “Honky-tonk country western the way it was meant to be”. The band was formed in 1998 by singer/songwriter Buck Buchanan and drummer Johnny Regan. With Russ Olsen on bass, Sandy Dodge adds the cryin’ steel guitar, and Jim Lewis brings on the twangin’ electric lead guitar. All the band members sing and together they create a bona fide honky-tonk dance band featuring original and classic country, with solid dance rhythms, sweet country harmonies, and dazzling instrumentals. Their roots are deep and their sound is real.
